Main Event Volleyball – Advanced Positional Clinics (High School Athletes)

The Main Event Volleyball Advanced Positional Clinics are built for serious high school athletes who are ready to compete at an elite level. These sessions are designed to sharpen position-specific skills, increase game-speed execution, and prepare players to stand out against the area’s top competition.

This is not basic training. These clinics are intense, demanding, and intentionally structured to push athletes beyond their comfort zones.

Every session is designed to maximize touches and decision-making under pressure. Athletes will train in a fast-paced, competitive environment that mirrors the tempo and intensity of high-level varsity and club volleyball.

Athletes will be challenged to perform consistently at speed while maintaining technical precision and composure.

Position-Specific Mastery

These clinics go deep into the details of each role on the court, focusing on advanced technical refinement and tactical awareness.

Setters will train in tempo variation, advanced offensive systems, reading blockers and defenses, jump-setting mechanics, and leadership communication under pressure.

Pin Hitters (OH/RS) will develop advanced shot selection, vision against elite blocking schemes, out-of-system scoring, serve-receive responsibilities, and transition efficiency.

Middle Blockers will focus on reading setter tendencies, advanced footwork for closing blocks, quick-tempo attacking, and defensive transition speed.

Liberos & Defensive Specialists will sharpen serve-receive precision, defensive reading, pursuit mentality, floor leadership, and seamless transition into offensive systems.

These are skills and tactical concepts that often are not fully introduced at younger levels but are essential for competing at high-level varsity, club, and recruiting environments.
